Batumi: 4-day sightseeing tour

Four days in Batumi is a trip for those who want to combine a city stroll with sea air and a leisurely rest by the water. Here there is no need to hurry anywhere: Batumi reveals itself gradually, through architecture, greenery and the proximity of the Black Sea.

The first day is only arrival and the first acquaintance with the city. The road from the airport to the hotel takes about half an hour, check-in is after 15:00. After that, the time belongs to you: you can simply walk and breathe the sea air.

The second day is the most packed. First the city: Old Batumi with its houses decorated with chimeras, mermaids and atlantes, and then the modern quarters with their unusual shapes. Among the stops are the Seaside Boulevard, the Alphabet Tower, the moving statue of Ali and Nino, Piazza Square, Nurigeli Park and Lake, as well as Lake Ardagani. After the city stroll the rhythm changes: the Batumi Botanical Garden on the slopes of the Green Cape gives the opportunity to slow down, walk along the winding alleys and see the sea through the greenery.

The third day is the complete opposite of the second. No excursions: only the sea, free time and the opportunity to leisurely drink wine or coffee brewed on the sand.

The fourth day is the completion of the trip. After breakfast you need to check out of the room by 12:00, and then a transfer to Batumi Airport awaits you. If desired and for an additional fee, you can return to Tbilisi: from the hotel to the Batumi railway station, then a journey by rail or bus and Tbilisi Airport.
