Tbilisi: 4-day sightseeing tour

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Tbilisi, meeting at the airport and the road to the hotel — about half an hour, depending on the traffic situation. Check-in after 15:00. The rest of the day is free, and this sets the tone for the whole trip: first get used to the city, and only then fill it with events. Night in Tbilisi, meals not included.

2. Day 2

   Breakfast at the hotel, and then — one of three excursions, which is confirmed without a choice: Kakheti, Kazbegi or Mtskheta. The main impression of the day depends on where you end up: in Kakheti it is the Alazani Valley, Bodbe Monastery and the town of Sighnaghi, then a stop in the village of Badiauri, where shotis puri is baked, and wine tasting; in Kazbegi — Ananuri Fortress, the view of Zhinvali Reservoir and the Friendship Arch in Gudauri, and lunch in the village of Mleta and a jeep ride up to Gergeti Church — for an additional payment on the spot, if the weather permits; in Mtskheta — Jvari Monastery on the mountain and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. The day is long and packed, return to Tbilisi and night here as well.

3. Day 3

   Breakfast at the hotel, and the whole day — free time in Tbilisi. This is a day without a guide and without a schedule: you can go to the Old Town, also known as Kala, see Metekhi Church and Metekhi Bridge, the Abanotubani sulfur baths, Narikala Fortress, the Botanical Garden, Shardeni Street, Anchiskhati Church, the Bridge of Peace, the Rezo Gabriadze House and the Mother of Georgia monument, or you can take the cable car. By evening — a cruise on the Kura River and restaurants with wine cellars. Night in Tbilisi.

4. Day 4

   Breakfast at the hotel, and the room must be left by noon. Then — transfer to Tbilisi airport, which adapts to any flight: the trip ends here.
