Beijing, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai: 9-day sightseeing tour

Beijing, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai: 9-day sightseeing tour

Days: 9Flight included, chosen at booking

About the programme

This trip is a journey through China: first Beijing, then Zhangjiajie with its mountains and gorges, and finally Shanghai. Nine days and eight nights add up to a route where ancient temples and imperial parks coexist with modern skyscrapers and dizzying heights. The flight is included, as are the air tickets between Beijing, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai, so there is no need to worry about logistics within the country.

The rhythm of the trip changes: the first days in the capital are measured strolls through huge park ensembles and the Great Wall of China, then Zhangjiajie sets a completely different pace — boats, caves, a glass bridge and a cable car to the floating mountains. The final days in Shanghai are more urban, with gardens, observation decks and a river cruise. The nights are spent in fourth-category hotels, breakfasts are included, and lunches are provided in Chinese cuisine restaurants according to the program.

The trip will suit those who want to see China in full: both historical monuments, and natural wonders, and a megacity. Transfers to the airport and back are included in the transfers. The guide speaks Russian, accompanies on excursions and helps with accommodation.

Among the additional opportunities is a visit to a circus or opera in Beijing, but only for an additional fee. Tips for guides, drivers and porters are not included in the price, they are customarily given separately. Overall, this is a rich but not overloaded route, where every day brings a new place and a new impression.
