Beijing, Shanghai, Luoyang and Xi'an: 9-day sightseeing tour
Days: 9Flight from Almaty is priced separately
About the programme
This journey through China goes from the north to the center of the country: Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Luoyang and Xi'an. Nine days and eight nights in hotels, a rich excursion program with a Russian-speaking guide, lunches in Chinese restaurants and transfers on high-speed trains. The flight is not included in the price — tourists arrange it separately.
The rhythm of the trip changes: the first days in Beijing and Shanghai are a dense acquaintance with imperial palaces, temples and the modern metropolis. Then the pace slows down in Suzhou with its canals and gardens, and after that it picks up again in Luoyang and Xi'an, where ancient grottoes, the Shaolin Monastery and the Terracotta Army await tourists.
The route is built so that each day differs from the previous one: one is dedicated to temples, another to the Great Wall of China, the third to palaces and the transfer to Shanghai. There are also calm days with walks around the water town and shopping.
The trip will suit those who want to see the main historical monuments of China and at the same time not hurry. Some excursions are offered for an additional fee — for example, a visit to the Beijing Opera or an evening walk along the Huangpu River.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Beijing and meeting with a guide who speaks Russian. After the transfer to the hotel and check-in, acquaintance with the city begins: the Temple of Heaven Tiantan with its blue tiles and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, and then the Lama Temple Yonghegong with a huge statue of Maitreya made of sandalwood. Lunch takes place in a Chinese restaurant, and after the excursions — return to the hotel.

The day ends with return to the hotel and free time.
