About the programme

Nine days across China is a route where imperial history coexists with fantastic landscapes, and the measured rhythm of ancient cities gives way to dizzying heights. You begin in Beijing, where everything breathes scale: huge squares, palaces, walls, behind which centuries of history can be guessed. Then the train carries you to Xi'an — a city where the past literally lies under your feet, and the terracotta warriors have stood in battle order for thousands of years. Next — Zhangjiajie, and this is a completely different planet: cliffs soaring in the mist, glass bridges over the abyss and elevators climbing up sheer walls. The finale — Shanghai, a city of skyscrapers, gardens and embankments, where China shows its modern face.

The rhythm of the trip is uneven: the first two days in Beijing are a dense immersion in the imperial capital, then the move to Xi'an, where the pace slows slightly so that you have time to make out the details of ancient walls and pagodas. Zhangjiajie is the most active stretch: ascents, descents, walks on glass over the abyss. And in Shanghai the rhythm becomes urban again, but already from the height of the TV tower and from the water — along the embankment.

This trip is for those who want to see China as different: imperial, archaeological, natural and ultra-modern. It is not about beach holidays, but about movement, impressions and changing scenery. The eighth day gives a breather — free time that can be spent at your own discretion, and the ninth — is already the road home.

It is important to remember: flights between the cities of the route are paid separately, as is the international flight. The program is packed, but it has a place for both lunch with Peking duck, and dinner with a view of the city, and quiet walks in the parks.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

Beijing meets you right away, without warming up: transfer to the hotel, lunch with Peking duck, and then — the main square of the country and the former residence of the emperors. You will see both the scope of the square and the decoration of the halls of the Forbidden City, where every stone remembers history. The day sets the tone for the whole trip — imperial and solemn. Return to the hotel.

  2. Day 2

This is the day for which many go to China: ascent to the Great Wall of China with a cable car. The feeling of scale and antiquity is captivating. After lunch in a country restaurant — an exterior view of the Olympic venues, and then the Summer Imperial Palace Yiheyuan with its landscapes. The pace is high, but the impressions are worth it. Return to the hotel.

  3. Day 3

Transfer to Xi'an by express train — and immediately into the past: the terracotta army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Thousands of clay warriors, each with his own face, stand in battle order. This is not just a museum, but a window into ancient history. After lunch — transfer to the hotel.

  4. Day 4

Xi'an reveals itself more slowly, but no less brightly: the ancient city wall, one of the best preserved in China, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda is a symbol of the city, its brickwork keeps the atmosphere of antiquity. Lunch, and then a flight to Zhangjiajie — and you find yourself among the mountains that will become the scenery of the following days.

  5. Day 5

The most fantastic day of the trip: the national forest park and Tianzi Mountain, ascent on the Bailong Elevator. Avatar Mountain, descent by cable car in Yuanjiajie, landscapes that are recognized from the film. And the glass bridge of the Grand Canyon — a test for those who are not afraid of heights. The day is packed, with transfers and ascents, but it is here that China seems unreal.

  6. Day 6

The morning begins with Baofeng Lake, surrounded by cliffs and waterfalls — calm before a new challenge. Then Tianmen Mountain with a glass path: a walk along a transparent bridge over the abyss. After dinner — a flight to Shanghai, and you exchange mountains for a city. A day of contrasts and transitions.

  7. Day 7

Shanghai shows itself from different sides: the classical Garden of Joy with ponds and picturesque buildings, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower with lunch at a height, a tourist tunnel under the river and the Bund. The day is urban, but with different rhythms — from the silence of the garden to the panorama from a height. Return to the hotel, rest.

  8. Day 8

A free day without excursions: you can devote it to shopping or additional trips to Suzhou, Zhujiajiao, Hangzhou, Xitang, Wuzhen — for an additional fee and at will. This is a breather before the road home. Breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the time is yours.

  9. Day 9

Breakfast, check-out, transfer to the airport and flight home. A day of farewell to China, without excursions and transfers. Ahead — only the road.
