About the programme

Eight days along the western and southern coast of Turkey: you start in Antalya, climb to the white terraces of Pamukkale, drop into Izmir, spend a night in Bodrum, then in Marmaris and finish on the coast of Fethiye, to return to Antalya again. This is a route for those who are interested not only in the sea, but also in ancient cities, mountain roads and small villages along the way.

The rhythm of the trip is uneven: after a calm first day come busy transfers with stops, and closer to the finale there appears time for beaches and views. The road itself becomes part of the impression — along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, with stops at lakes, canals and viewpoints.

You will spend the night in 4 stars hotels, breakfasts and dinners are already included, and between cities you will be driven by a comfortable bus accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide. Lunches, personal expenses and most additional excursions are for a separate fee.

This trip will suit those who are ready for transfers and want to see different facets of the country: ancient ruins, thermal springs, resort towns and quiet bays. There is free time almost every day, but it is worth planning in advance — especially if you want to fly on a paraglider or go up by cable car: both are offered for an additional fee and optionally.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Antalya, meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, free time remains — you can rest or walk around the city on your own. Dinner is included, and in the evening there will be a meeting with the guide, who will tell about the route.

  2. Day 2

    After breakfast — a visit to a leather goods shop and the road towards Denizli. The main impression of the day — the ruins of Hierapolis on the limestone terraces and the snow-white travertine formations of Pamukkale; the excursion takes place for an additional fee. Along the way you can taste local wine. Night in a hotel in Pamukkale, dinner is included.

  3. Day 3

    The day is measured, without long transfers. First — a textile center in Denizli: there they make things that locals are proud of. Then the village of Sirince: narrow streets with houses in the Greek style, small wineries and artisans' shops. By night you are already in Izmir, where dinner awaits you.

  4. Day 4

    After breakfast — a transfer to Ephesus, where more buildings have survived than in most ancient cities: the Library of Celsus, the amphitheater, temple complexes. The excursion takes place for an additional fee. Nearby — the House of the Virgin Mary, important for Christians all over the world. After lunch — Bodrum: the castle, the marina and the windmills on a panoramic excursion. Night in Bodrum, dinner is included.

  5. Day 5

    The road along the picturesque coast with a stop at Lake Bafa, from where views of the ancient ruins of Heraclea open up. Optionally and for an additional fee — a boat trip along the canals of Dalyan and Iztuzu beach, where rare sea turtles nest. Arrival in Marmaris, night in Marmaris, dinner is included.

  6. Day 6

    After breakfast — departure to Akyaka, a small town in the Gulf of Gokova. The main thing here — the Azmak river with emerald water and green banks; in Akyaka free time remains for a walk, coffee and photos, and optionally you can have lunch in a restaurant by the water at your own expense. Further — the road to Fethiye, night in Fethiye, dinner is included.

  7. Day 7

    The day for which many come here: over the Blue Lagoon of Oludeniz you can fly on a paraglider — for an additional fee. Another stop — Kaputas beach, one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. Optionally and for an additional fee — the cable car to Mount Tahtali: from above a panorama of the coast opens up. Transfer to Antalya, night in Antalya, dinner is included.

  8. Day 8

    Departure day, without excursions. The bus will take you to the airport — the time depends on your flight.
