About the programme

Eight days across Turkey are a movement from south to north and back to the south: Antalya, Pamukkale, Bursa, Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia and again Antalya. The rhythm of the trip is uneven: some days are almost entirely about the road and contemplation from the bus window, others are dense walks through cities and landscapes. Overnight stays change seven times, and this is a journey for those who are ready for long drives for the sake of a changing picture behind the glass.

The program includes many excursions that come at an additional cost: Pamukkale with Hierapolis, a day in Istanbul, a hot air balloon and Goreme in Cappadocia, a yacht trip in Antalya. At the same time, transfers between cities, a group transfer and a guide's accompaniment are already included. Breakfasts and dinners are in Cappadocia, Antalya and Pamukkale, and in Istanbul only bed and breakfast.

There is no even alternation of rest and activity here: the days in Cappadocia and Istanbul give the most impressions, while the days of transfers are rather a road with short stops. The trip will suit those who want to see different facets of the country in one trip and are not afraid that every day they will have to pack their suitcase again.

Hotels of the 4* category along the entire route, lunches are not included, personal expenses are separate.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Antalya, transfer to the hotel and check-in. The first day is acclimatization after the road: dinner is already included, the night passes in a hotel in Antalya. The pace is set by the trip itself — to check in, to rest and to prepare for tomorrow's transfer.

  2. Day 2

    The main thing of this day is the snow-white terraces of Pamukkale and the ruins of Hierapolis on the limestone terraces. The excursion comes at an additional cost. On the way — a stop at a leather goods shop and a wine tasting of local production. The road leads toward Denizli, and you already spend the night in a hotel in Pamukkale — breakfast and dinner are included.

  3. Day 3

    The day is dedicated to Bursa — the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, where the city is felt through the old streets and historical places, and a panoramic view shows it as a whole. From there — a transfer to Istanbul, a city on two continents. The excursion on this day is already included. Overnight stay in the province of Istanbul, dinner is not included.

  4. Day 4

    The most packed day in Istanbul, and the entire excursion is at an additional cost. You will see the Hippodrome Square, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet with six minarets and the Topkapi Palace, from where a view opens onto the Golden Horn, the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. A separate impression is a boat trip along the Bosphorus. Overnight stay in the province of Istanbul, dinner is not included.

  5. Day 5

    A day of travel from Istanbul to Cappadocia with a stop in Ankara, where you will visit the Ataturk Museum with the personal belongings of Mustafa Kemal. Lunch — free time. Upon arrival, the landscape of Cappadocia opens up; if there is time, you can descend into the underground city. Both excursions are included in the price. Night in a hotel in Cappadocia, breakfast and dinner are included.

  6. Day 6

    Sunrise over Cappadocia and a hot air balloon flight — an excursion at an additional cost and the earliest start of the trip. After breakfast — a visit to the Goreme Open Air Museum, also at an additional cost. Besides this, during the day there will be observation decks, a ceramic factory, a Turkish delight tasting and a carpet factory. If you wish, you can attend a whirling dervishes show at an additional cost. Night in Cappadocia, breakfast and dinner are included.

  7. Day 7

    Early breakfast and the road to Antalya with a stop in the city of Sultanhani for rest. The main thing here is a yacht trip in Antalya, an excursion at an additional cost. After — check-in at the hotel. Night in Antalya, breakfast and dinner are included.

  8. Day 8

    Departure day: depending on the flight time, the bus will take you to the airport for the return home.
