Istanbul: 4-day sightseeing tour

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

You are met at Istanbul airport and taken to the hotel, where you check in and rest after the journey. This is a day without excursions — time to settle in and get in the mood for the trip. All you need is to be ready for tomorrow's acquaintance with the city.

2. Day 2

You will spend half a day on an excursion about the Ottoman heritage. The main impression is the Blue Mosque with its six minarets and blue tiles inside; nearby is the mosque of Hagia Sophia, which is viewed from the outside, and the ancient Hippodrome, where chariot races once roared. A few more stops are the German Fountain of Wilhelm and the Hurrem Sultan Hammam, also from the outside. The rest of the day is yours: you can go on other excursions or spend it shopping.

3. Day 3

This day is about panoramas and borders: you will drive across the Bosphorus Bridge between Europe and Asia, see the city from above and walk along the Golden Horn bay. Another strong impression is the Byzantine city walls, preserved to this day. Among the stops is also the facade of Dolmabahce Palace from the outside — optionally; note that on Mondays it is closed. Another stop is the workshops where leather and fur items are sewn: there they show the products of local craftsmen. Free time is again left to your discretion.

4. Day 4

Free time until check-out from the hotel, then transfer to the airport and flight home. This is a calm end to the trip without excursions — you can pack unhurriedly and say goodbye to Istanbul.
