About the programme

Eleven days in Vietnam, where sea and beach give way to the cool of the mountains, and the noise of the big city to the silence of the river delta. The route leads from Nha Trang to Da Lat and further to Ho Chi Minh City: three different characters of the country, gathered into one trip. The rhythm is uneven — after days on the coast and in the mountains comes a packed finale in the southern capital. The flight between Da Lat and Ho Chi Minh City is part of the route, the international flight is not included.

Nha Trang is the first acquaintance with Vietnam: a city by the sea, where there is time both for the beach and for quiet walks. Here there is a sightseeing tour with a visit to the Institute of Oceanography and Bao Dai's villa, as well as a trip to the waterfalls with a crocodile farm. Between them — free days on the shore, when one can simply rest.

Da Lat is another country: a city at altitude, with flowers, lakes and pagodas. Here one moves from Nha Trang to see the Datanla and Pongour waterfalls, the Flower Garden and the Lake of Love, as well as the Linh Phuoc pagoda. The air here is fresh, and the city itself is called the pearl of Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City is the final point: a big city with history and contrasts. Here there is a sightseeing tour of the center, the War Remnants Museum and Chinatown, and everything is completed by an evening boat trip along Saigon with dinner on the boat. The trip to the Mekong Delta is a separate day with boats, farms and tastings.

The trip will suit those who want to see Vietnam as different: sea, mountains, city and river. The pace changes from relaxed to packed, but there is always room for rest and free time.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Nha Trang, meeting with the guide and transfer to the hotel. After a long journey — rest and check-in. This is a day without excursions, to get into the rhythm of the trip.

  2. Day 2

    Sightseeing tour of Nha Trang: the Institute of Oceanography, Bao Dai's villa, the Mother Goddess Cathedral and the tropical fruit market. Lunch in a restaurant. The day introduces the city and its history.

  3. Day 3–4

    Two days at the sea: breakfasts at the hotel, free time and rest on the beach. No transfers and excursions — only the coast and silence. This is a pause before the long journey.

  4. Day 5

    A trip to the Yang Bay waterfalls and the crocodile farm. On the way — a tour of Nha Trang, banana and pineapple plantations, and Jarai settlements. At the farm one can feed the crocodiles from a bamboo fishing rod and see Asian bears, and at the Heavenly Apple and Night Caprice waterfalls — swim. Lunch with fried crocodile and ostrich meat.

  5. Day 6

    Another day at the sea: breakfast, free time and the beach. After the packed trip to the waterfalls this is a chance to rest. Night in Nha Trang.

  6. Day 7

    Transfer from Nha Trang to Da Lat — a city at altitude, founded by the French. On the way — the Datanla waterfall, the Truc Lam pagoda and the Crazy House (Aunt Nga's). In Da Lat one can buy wines, liqueurs, tea and coffee, as well as visit a silk painting factory. Lunch and check-in at the hotel.

  7. Day 8

    The day begins with the Da Lat Flower Garden and the Lake of Love. Then — the Linh Phuoc pagoda with mosaics and the Pongour waterfall, whose streams fall from a height of about 40 meters. After lunch — a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, meeting and check-in at the hotel.

  8. Day 9

    A trip to the Mekong Delta: a stop at the Dong Tam snake farm, then a boat along the Tien River. On the Con Phung islet — a traditional Vietnamese lunch. The continuation of the journey by water leads past quiet villages to Ben Tre. Here agro-farms await tourists: they taste honey and honey wine, listen to folk melodies and watch how coconut caramel is made.

  9. Day 10

    Sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City: Dong Khoi street, the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, the central Post Office and the Independence Palace. After lunch — the War Remnants Museum, the Thien Hau pagoda, Chinatown and the Ben Thanh market. In the evening — a boat trip along Saigon with dinner on the boat.

  10. Day 11

    The room is checked out, and tourists get to the airport themselves, without a guide. From there — departure home. If desired and with time to spare, one can take a lunch box.
