Went to Bar because I needed to unwind after the divorce and close out my sick leave with this stupid knee. I was choosing between Turkey and Montenegro and picked the second one, even though people I know tried to talk me out of it: in August there's supposedly no room to breathe there. The manager picked a hotel two steps from the sea, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed, — in the morning you open the balcony and there's the smell of salt and pine trees. The food at the hotel was so-so, dry cutlets and coffee from a machine, but I walked to the old town and ate chorba with bread there. Came back with a suitcase of seashells and the smell of salt in my hair, and if it weren't for the public beach with the crowds, I'd have given it a five.
